Everything you'd ever want to know about the adorably awesome Gilbert Beilschmidt!1: What does their bedroom look like? Pretty spartan really. He didn't really expect to be in Archadia long and he's been too busy to decorate it much. He has a queen-sized bed with lots of brightly colored pillows and blankets and a rather large canary plushie that he couldn't resist buying. (At least now that he has Nico, no one will give him odd looks for such items at the checkout line anymore.)2: Do they have any daily rituals? He's very ritualistic, he goes around every morning before he leaves and checks all the doors and windows before he leaves anywhere, even if it's just down the road. He has a pretty structured routine, something that helps both him and Nico.3: Do they exercise, and if so, what do they do? How often? Gil isn't extremely health oriented, he jogs for thirty minutes each morning and follows that with thirty minutes of free weights. 4: What would they do if they needed to make dinner but the kitchen was busy? He likes food, but he isn't really fond of cooking himself, it gets too tedious for him so if he can get anyone to cook for him, it's all the better. 5: Cleanliness habits (personal, workspace, etc.) People might not realize it at first, but he is very organized. He has organizers and schedules everywhere, and each and every thing in his life has a proper place and order.6: Eating habits and sample daily menu: Unlike his work, his eating schedule is pretty varied. He'll eat whatever he can whenever he can. And unless someone reminds him, he may not eat all day. 7: Favorite way to waste time and feelings surrounding wasting time 8: Favorite indulgence and feelings surrounding indulging 9: Makeup? He knows nothing about it.10: Neuroses? Do they recognize them as such? 11: Intellectual pursuits? 12: Favorite book genre? 13: Sexual Orientation? And, regardless of own orientation, thoughts on sexual orientation in general? 14: Physical abnormalities? (Both visible and not, including injuries/disabilities, long-term illnesses, food-intolerances, etc.) 15: Biggest and smallest short term goal? 16: Biggest and smallest long term goal? 17: Preferred mode of dress and rituals surrounding dress 18: Favorite beverage? 19: What do they think about before falling asleep at night? 20: Childhood illnesses? Post by Alfred F. Jones on Jun 10, 2016 1:15:33 GMT -5
Alfred Fitzgerald Jones: A Guide 1: What does their bedroom look like? Lots of superhero posters. Mostly Captain America, coupled with some of Superman, Agents of SHIELD, random Marvel characters...you get the gist. There's a queen-sized bed. Lots of pillows and a large, plush comforter because Alfred gets cold easily. Desk in the corner with several screens where Alfred does the majority of his work.2: Do they have any daily rituals? Morning runs that start around 5-6 AM depending on how long Alfred manages to sleep. They don't have a set time they last; really depends on how Alfred's feeling. Plenty of weights. Then coffee.3: Do they exercise, and if so, what do they do? How often? Every day without a doubt. Runs and weights mostly. Alfred focuses a lot on core training, then arms. He's built like an athlete, and the running evens out the weight-lifting.4: What would they do if they needed to make dinner but the kitchen was busy? McDonald's.5: Cleanliness habits (personal, workspace, etc.) Alfred's personal hygiene is pretty good since he showers every day after exercising. In terms of keeping things tidy though, Alfred does tend towards messiness. He isn't absolutely terrible and he does clean, but when he's focused on working, things can become chaotic. It's an organized mess, and Alfred knows where everything is. His computer files are very organized though.6: Eating habits and sample daily menu ...Not very healthy? As Alfred puts it, "I exercise so I can eat." He does better when he babysits, but not amazing. Breakfast: Bacon, eggs, coffee. Lunch: Hamburgers, corn on the cob. Dinner: Steak? Mac and cheese? There's a lot of meat. Very few veggies.7: Favorite way to waste time and feelings surrounding wasting time Marvel movies!8: Favorite indulgence and feelings surrounding indulging McDonald's is always something Alfred likes to indulge in. He knows it's shitty for him, but it's just so good. He does sometimes feel bad afterwards though, and will exercise more to make up for it.9: Makeup? Only for cons.10: Neuroses? Do they recognize them as such? Abandonment issues? Internalized homophobia? Mild PTSD? Idk man.11: Intellectual pursuits? Latest tech trends, and anything to do with outer space.12: Favorite book genre? Action/Adventure.13: Sexual Orientation? And, regardless of own orientation, thoughts on sexual orientation in general? Demisexual. Though he's pretty sure he's straight. Alfred's accepting of most sexual orientations, but he does have a "everyone but me" mentality surrounding it. It's cool if you're gay, but there's no way Alfred could be. He has a lot of concerns about masculinity.14: Physical abnormalities? (Both visible and not, including injuries/disabilities, long-term illnesses, food-intolerances, etc.) Do scars count? If so, there's one on his abdomen, one on his back, and his newest addition, a round, gunshot wound scar on his left shoulder.15: Biggest and smallest short term goal? Biggest: Find the dog. Smallest: Reinstall and increase security features for his apartment.16: Biggest and smallest long term goal? Biggest: Save the mutants and create a peaceful world for them. Smallest: Go back to the U.S.17: Preferred mode of dress and rituals surrounding dress Alfred is all about t-shirts and jeans. Also sweatshirts; gotta love those. He doesn't have a ton of rituals surrounding how he dresses normally, other than a slight possessiveness over his bomber jacket. For cons, however, it's a long, drawn out process. He's very picky about what he wears and how it reflects on him and the person he is meant to be.18: Favorite beverage? Coke.19: What do they think about before falling asleep at night? Matthew, mostly. A lot of brainstorming for the FF also happens at this time. Alfred's mind tends to wander in all different directions right before bed. It's pretty difficult to fall asleep, which is why Alfred chooses to sleep extremely late.20: Childhood illnesses? Any interesting stories behind them? Not particularly, other than the time where Alfred wanted to get out of going to school so badly he purposefully drank his sick friend's water and then ran around in the rain. He was out of school for two weeks.21: Turn-ons? Turn-offs? Turn-ons: Gilbert in glasses Confidence. Confidence is very attractive. Turn-offs: SHIT. Complacency. Apathy.22: Given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen? There are two directions this could go. The first, hand writing out things he needs to do/code. Second, lots of doodles of whales. Both will go in the shredder.23: How organized are they? How does this organization/disorganization manifest in their everyday life? Not all that organized. Alfred's mind tends to spin off in all different directions, which is immediately evident in his organization. Everything makes sense to him, but probably not the outside viewer. He gets annoyed if anyone interferes with that creative process, and will snap if people try to put things into a more logical place. He will clean up afterwards though, and when he's feeling paranoid it's amazing how thoroughly and quickly he can clean and pack.24: Is there one subject of study that they excel at? Or do they even care about intellectual pursuits at all? Alfred has a knack for all things tech related. He loves gadgets and programming. He used to be very good at physics in high school, though he hasn't done much with that knowledge since.25: How do they see themselves 5 years from today? He really doesn't see himself surviving that long. If he did, maybe just having his brother be safe.26: Do they have any plans for the future? Any contingency plans if things don’t workout? Alfred's only plan is to work as hard as he can and for as long as he can for the FF. There is no alternative. It's ride or die.27: What is their biggest regret? Not saving Matthew.28: Who do they see as their best friend? Their worst enemy? Gilbert, probably. They spend the most time together, between the FF and taking care of Nico. Next would be Leon or Feli. Maybe Ed as well. Biggest enemy is Tino Väinämöinen, though Alfred doesn't know who he is yet. Other enemies include any supporters of the government, and anyone in SHIT.29: Reaction to sudden extrapersonal disaster (eg The house is on fire! What do they do?) Action is always the best reaction. Alfred will do anything necessary, including risking his life.30: Reaction to sudden intrapersonal disaster (eg close family member suddenly dies) The exact opposite. Alfred will shut himself in, refusing to speak with anyone, even those he loves. He'll barely eat, and it may be days before he leaves his apartment. Depending on the availability, he may or may not drink, which will open him up to talking some, though he'll revert back to locking himself away once he's sober.31: Most prized possession? His bomber jacket. Though his special collectors' edition of The Winter Soldier is a close second.32: Thoughts on material possessions in general? Alfred tends to be very materialistic. Stuff stays constant, and it's nice to have something you know will be there.33: Concept of home and family? Home is the people he loves. Home is where he feels safe and wanted.34: Thoughts on privacy? (Are they a private person, or are they prone to ‘TMI’?) It fluctuates depending on the subject. Alfred likes his space, certainly. He keeps much of his life secret and hidden. However, he does enjoy talking, so it sometimes comes into conflict.35: What activities do they enjoy, but consider to be a waste of time? Stargazing. Whale watching. Alfred also likes feeding the ducks in the pond.36: What makes them feel guilty? Matthew. Also Ludwig. Gilbert as well, from time to time.37: Are they more analytical or more emotional in their decision-making? Alfred tries (he really tries) to be analytical in decision-making, but sometimes (read: often) his emotions get the best of him.38: What recharges them when they’re feeling drained? Rewatching The Winter Soldier, eating popcorn, drinking Coke, and snuggling into a blanket.39: Would you say that they have a superiority-complex? Inferiority-complex? Neither? Superiority? Alfred tends to act more confident than he feels.40: How misanthropic are they? Alfred went through his angsty phase after Matthew's capture, but for the most part, Alfred is an optimist at heart. He wants to believe in the good in people and the world. He wants to believe that things will turn out alright. The moments he loses sight of that are the moments when he comes closest to giving up entirely.41: Hobbies? Exercise. Programming. Video games. Captain America everything. Can eating be a hobby?42: How far did they get in formal education? What are their views on formal education vs self-education? About halfway through sophomore year of high school. Alfred thinks education (particularly science education...climate change is real people, the bees are dying) is important, though since he did self-educate himself on hacking and the like, he doesn't necessarily think formal education is the only path to go.43: Religion? He isn't particularly religious, though his family did used to go to church occasionally. He does hold some more traditional values, though he's reluctant to admit to it.44: Superstitions or views on the occult? Ghosts are terrifying. What the hell is salt supposed to do?45: Do they express their thoughts through words or deeds? Both? Alfred likes to talk a lot, since it helps him think when he paces and voices things out loud to himself. He prefers to act on things than simply think about them though.46: If they were to fall in love, who (or what) is their ideal? Steven Grant Rogers. Someone who makes him laugh. Someone who isn't a pushover, who's willing to disagree with him, but at the same time, shares his general opinion on the world. Someone who won't leave him.47: How do they express love? Lots of affection and cuddling. He tends to get chatty and smile a lot. Some fussing and worrying, depending on the situation. Think an overly affectionate golden retriever.48: If this person were to get into a fist fight, what is their fighting style like? Mostly attack-oriented. Alfred almost always take the offense. He relies more on his strength than anything else. He's not afraid to get dirty.49: Is this person afraid of dying? Why or why not? "I imagine death so much it feels more like a memory. When's it gonna get me, in my sleep? Seven feet ahead of me? If I see it comin', do I run or do I let it be? Is it like a beat without a melody? See I never thought I'd live past twenty." ...In other words, no, not really. He would like to save Matthew and have the FF be in a better place before he dies, but he's not afraid of death. He just hopes it'll be quick.

Yes good give me excuses not to do proper posts
1: What does their bedroom look like? Very plain. It's not like they have enough money to buy anything extra or decoration, so he lives with the bed with white sheets, and rickety table and chair he'd been provided with. The only personal touches are incense sticks and candles, and if you really looked, stashes of morphine. 2: Do they have any daily rituals? Aside from your regularly-scheduled mental breakdown not really. 3: Do they exercise, and if so, what do they do? How often? Nope. 4: What would they do if they needed to make dinner but the kitchen was busy? Wander off to wait, probably not remember to check again for hours. 5: Cleanliness habits (personal, workspace, etc.) Poor. Aside from being a naturally messy person, most of the time he doesn't have the spoons. 6: Eating habits and sample daily menu Also poor. It takes much, much longer for him to succumb to symptoms of hunger or thirst, so if he doesn't have the spoons or if he needs to save money, food and drink are the first to go. He likely has an eating disorder, unconsciously withholding nourishment as a means of feeling like he is in control of his physical self. 7: Favorite way to waste time and feelings surrounding wasting time Lying in bed staring at the ceiling, long walks in the park. He has free time to spare, actually, and there's not much for him to do with it. 8: Favorite indulgence and feelings surrounding indulging Arthur. He still can't truly enjoy it, with the threat of the government looming over their heads. 9: Makeup? Can't afford that shit dude. 10: Neuroses? Do they recognize them as such? A lot. >>; Undiagnosed depression, anxiety, PTSD(? Is it PTSD if it's not post- anything?), mild paranoia, possibly BPD and an eating disorder. 11: Intellectual pursuits? Enjoys them when he can get access, but it's likely discouraged. 12: Favorite book genre? Fantasy. 13: Sexual Orientation? And, regardless of own orientation, thoughts on sexual orientation in general? Hardly his major concern at the moment. He's in a highly-monogamous same-sex "relationship" and that's that. 14: Physical abnormalities? None. 15: Biggest and smallest short term goal? Avoid things and people that can hurt him; leave his room. 16: Biggest and smallest long term goal? Find out if he can die; get Arthur to safety. 17: Preferred mode of dress and rituals surrounding dress He can't afford to be picky. If he has the spoons for it, he likes to look decent, if plain. 18: Favorite beverage? Anything that isn't water is a luxury. 19: What do they think about before falling asleep at night? A lot of things, most of them very self-defeating. 20: Childhood illnesses? Any interesting stories behind them? His mutation? Care for a retelling about how his family was torn apart? 21: Turn-ons? Turn-offs? Not really a concern. 22: Given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen? Random scribbles that don't mean much. Probably a lot of swirls. 23: How organized are they? How does this organization/disorganization manifest in their everyday life? Not very? But it hardly seems to matter when his life is organized around the master's clock. 24: Is there one subject of study that they excel at? Or do they even care about intellectual pursuits at all? He was very good at history and literature in Weeds. 25: How do they see themselves 5 years from today? ...................... >> 26: Do they have any plans for the future? Any contingency plans if things don’t work out? You say that like there is a future. 27: What is their biggest regret? Being born, maybe? 28: Who do they see as their best friend? Their worst enemy? Arthur; all of those government sympathizers and enablers. 29: Reaction to sudden extrapersonal disaster (eg The house is on fire! What do they do?) Do as told. 30: Reaction to sudden intrapersonal disaster (eg close family member suddenly dies) Retreat into his own headspace. Self-medicate. 31: Most prized possession? They don't own anything. 32: Thoughts on material possessions in general? Would be nice to have. 33: Concept of home and family? He had a very good home life before he was taken, and he still remembers it fondly. He'd like to find his parents again if possible, and he hopes that they don't hate him. At the same time, he knows he's one of the lucky ones, since most of the other mutants' families were horrible to them. Still, he'd like to have a home again. 34: Thoughts on privacy? (Are they a private person, or are they prone to ‘TMI’?) He has no right to privacy. His relationship is his most closely-kept secret, out of necessity for the safety of the other party. 35: What activities do they enjoy, but consider to be a waste of time? None? 36: What makes them feel guilty? He hates having his powers used to hurt people, especially since he suspects that most of the time it's being used to hurt good people. He also often feels guilt about not being brave or selfless enough, not doing the "right" things as someone who has access to the government. Mostly, he feels guilt over not being able to protect his loved one. 37: Are they more analytical or more emotional in their decision-making? Analytical. Though usually it's an analytical means to achieve an emotional ends. 38: What recharges them when they’re feeling drained? There's a recharge option? 39: Would you say that they have a superiority-complex? Inferiority-complex? Neither? Inferiority, though that is what they're taught. 40: How misanthropic are they? Very. He hates the majority of the people he has the chance to interact with on a day-to-day basis, but even those interactions he's fine with, and occasionally enjoys, drain him. Not to mention preparing to interact. It saves more energy just being alone. 41: Hobbies? He likes to read when he has the chance. 42: How far did they get in formal education? What are their views on formal education vs self-education? Graduating from Weeds was his last formal education. He thinks that self-education is all the choice they have as mutants, really, and it's probably better than whatever brainwashing tools they use in formal education. 43: Religion? Complicated views. He was raised religiously, under messages of love and acceptance, and even now he finds some reassurance in knowing that it was those who were persecuted who would come to inherit the earth. Even so, he can't help but feel abandoned and cursed. If there is salvation, it can't come quickly enough. 44: Superstitions or views on the occult? It intrigues him, and has had his exposure to it often enough, being with Arthur. 45: Do they express their thoughts through words or deeds? Deeds. He is never be able to outright say what he wants to say. 46: If they were to fall in love, who (or what) is their ideal? u.u; 47: How do they express love? By recklessly endangering himself for the other's sake, apparently. 48: If this person were to get into a fist fight, what is their fighting style like? Biting. The first drop of blood usually ends the fight, unless his opponent is a real masochist. 49: Is this person afraid of dying? Why or why not? No.

Post by Feliciano Vargas on Jun 10, 2016 17:23:47 GMT -5
Figured this would be fun to do. Feel free to answer for your own characters! ☛ GET INSIDE YOUR CHARACTER'S HEAD! aka The Excessively Detailed Headcanon Meme 1: What does their bedroom look like? Feli doesn't have his own bedroom anymore, since he generally crashes with either Alfred or Gilbert. Especially when the group is all together, he'll be the first to offer to take the couch or sleep on the floor. All Feliciano imagines with having a room to himself is having lots of blankets and pillows, because he gets cold and uncomfortable very easily. Maybe he'd decorate the walls with photos of his friends and family and pictures of all the places he's visited?2: Do they have any daily rituals? None that particularly stand out beyond daily hygiene rituals, something Feliciano partakes in zealously. Hot showers are godsend. He often leaves the shower with his skin scalded red for several hours from the temperature alone.3: Do they exercise, and if so, what do they do? How often? Does walking between Alfred's apartment and Gilbert's house count? Nope. Exercising is boring, tedious, and exhausting. Feliciano has lots better things to do with his time. watching other people exercise can be nice though4: What would they do if they needed to make dinner but the kitchen was busy? Depends on why the kitchen is busy. If someone else is cooking, Feliciano will either offer to help (and give himself own room to make meals) or offer to finish the food himself. If people are just walking around or washing dishes or just taking up space, he will kick them out because THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO NEED TO EAT YES5: Cleanliness habits (personal, workspace, etc.) Feliciano, as of right now, will clean himself vigorously, borderline viciously, because he hasn't been able to control his own cleansliness in years. He isn't afraid of germs and if he gets messy, oh well. Just an excuse to clean up again! However, he doesn't always remember to clean up after himself when it comes to cooking, playing, etc. So his spaces are oftentimes slightly messy, but eventually he'll clean things up. Feliciano finds it much easier to clean up after other people than himself.6: Eating habits and sample daily menu If Feliciano could, he would try a new type of food every time he opened his mouth to eat. He has personal favorites, but wants to constantly explore the culinary world. Lunch is usually a new meal every day, and dinner often the same, but he will make Alfred or Gilbert's favorite foods if he knows they're having a bad day.7: Favorite way to waste time and feelings surrounding wasting time Cooking, watching movies, and exploring Archadia! Feliciano doesn't like sitting still while he's able to do so much more with his time. When he's in the Underground, he spends his time eavesdropping on other mutants and humans or just daydreaming, because there isn't anything else to do.8: Favorite indulgence and feelings surrounding indulging Definitely eating. One of his best childhood memories were stealing ingredients from the kitchens in Weeds to make his own snacks with Ludwig's assistance. Other than those little adventures, Feliciano has never had proper control over what he was allowed to eat, neither quantity or quality. He doesn't understand why people don't do the things they want when they want to. Like, monetary issues or time issues are a thing, of course, but if you have the time and money, why save these indulgences for "bad days", like you have to make yourself suffer to enjoy something?9: Makeup? Generally only when he has to be in "disguise", because his skin reacts poorly to most brands of makeup and he's not going to waste the expensive things experimenting.10: Neuroses? Do they recognize them as such? Definitely anxiety, and a lack of self-esteem. Feliciano doesn't think of them as neuroses, though he acknowledges that he "lets his fears get the best of him sometimes".11: Intellectual pursuits? Does cooking and attempting to absorb the whole of human history and society and culture through the internet count?12: Favorite book genre? Has a difficult time reading because his eyes get distracted by the varying shades of color in the ink and the texture of the paper.13: Sexual Orientation? And, regardless of own orientation, thoughts on sexual orientation in general? Has never really put much thought into it before--not something mutants are encouraged to think about or generally "indulge" in. If pressed, and given accurate definitions, would probably just label himself pansexual. Feliciano has no problems with anyone loving anyone else, so long as the relationship is healthy and happy!14: Physical abnormalities? (Both visible and not, including injuries/disabilities, long-term illnesses, food-intolerances, etc.) Feliciano has faced a lifetime of systematic physical and mental abuse. His body is covered with varying scars from general childish mishaps, 'scientific' experiments, corporeal punishment for "misdeeds", and attacks inflicted by other mutants. Repeatedly broken, cracked, and otherwise bruised ribs have made deep breathing difficult. He probably has damage to his internal organs due to prolonged starvation, which may lead to health complications in the future. His mutation does not cause physical abnormalities beyond the occasional loss of a sense or painful skin abrasions.15: Biggest and smallest short term goal? Find Ludwig and get him to safety. Make sure Alfred and Gilbert are taken care of (and hopefully reconcile his relationship with his own brother)16: Biggest and smallest long term goal? Help mutants gain freedom and access to the rights the deserve. Explore the world and live life to the fullest with Gilbert, Alfred, and Ludwig at his side.17: Preferred mode of dress and rituals surrounding dress Feliciano loves wearing soft clothing that doesn't irritate his skin and makes him look cute and/or handsome. This can be dresses, jeans, blouses, button-ups--anything that appeals to him aesthetically.18: Favorite beverage? Coffee!! Though he enjoys the fizz of soda as well.19: What do they think about before falling asleep at night? Feliciano likes to make up stories in his mind to keep him from thinking things best left alone. If he lets his mind wander, he'll keep himself up all night with worries and fears and dark thoughts, or just from the sounds of the world around him.20: Childhood illnesses? Any interesting stories behind them? Feliciano was absolutely the worst case of chicken pox that anyone in Weeds ever had to deal with. He was forced to have thick mittens taped over his hands for the extended duration of his illness, because he itched so badly he often drew blood.21: Turn-ons? Turn-offs? Never thought about it or even kissed somebody before how can you expect him to know what turns him on??22: Given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen? Either write lists of food he'd to eat, places he'd like to see, or things he'd like to do, or draw things around him. He doesn't share the 'doodles' with anyone, because he isn't sure if they're good or not.23: How organized are they? How does this organization/disorganization manifest in their everyday life? Definitely not organized at all! He can clean and make things orderly, but that's about it. He has little to no concept of time management, because in the Underground...time doesn't really matter much.24: Is there one subject of study that they excel at? Or do they even care about intellectual pursuits at all? He has a hard time understanding complex ideas, theorems, and more "abstract" ideas. He was very good at cooking and artistic analysis, though.25: How do they see themselves 5 years from today? Ideally: Somewhere outside of Russia, living a happy life with his loved ones. Realistically, either addressing the fallacies of mutant slavery and inhuman treatment, or locked back up in the Underground to rot.26: Do they have any plans for the future? Any contingency plans if things don’t work out? All Feliciano wants to do with life is live it the way he chooses, surrounded by those he cares about and who care about him in return. The specifics don't matter much right now.27: What is their biggest regret? His cruel, vindictive nature as a child that ultimately ruined his relationship with his elder brother and led to another mutant child committing suicide.28: Who do they see as their best friend? Their worst enemy? Ludwig A. Beilschmidt is bestest best friend and person in the entire world!!!!! Gilbert Beilschmidt and Alfred F. Jones are both very close friends too, though! His biggest enemies on a moral front are the people who perpetuate the idea of mutant slave culture. Anyone who threatens the safety and happiness of his loved ones is a permanent enemy of Feliciano's29: Reaction to sudden extrapersonal disaster (eg The house is on fire! What do they do?) Make sure anyone else in the house has escaped safely!30: Reaction to sudden intrapersonal disaster (eg close family member suddenly dies) Intense flood of uncontrollable, dark emotions, and extended loss of ability to control his mutation, which may lead to irreparable loss of one or more of his senses (and potentially his life).31: Most prized possession? Does not have one. Everything granted to Feliciano is by the kindness of those around him, and are all meant to be cherished. Has never had the will to request something specifically be bought for himself.32: Thoughts on material possessions in general? Possessions of a material, non-living sort are nice, but Feliciano can live without them so long as he has the people he loves with him.33: Concept of home and family? Home is where Feliciano feels happy and safe, and family are the people who care about him (and the one brother who rightfully despises him but he loves anyway)34: Thoughts on privacy? (Are they a private person, or are they prone to ‘TMI’?) Feliciano is very much not a private person, whether he was subconsciously trained to be open or not. However, he tries his best to keep the things that bother him, and the darker sides of his history, locked away, even from himself.35: What activities do they enjoy, but consider to be a waste of time? Nothing is a waste of time so long as it keeps him happy and engaged!36: What makes them feel guilty? Putting himself before others for any reason, and allowing dark emotions get the best of himself. ESPECIALLY if they lead to hurting anyone.37: Are they more analytical or more emotional in their decision-making? Definitely emotional, though his emotions follow a strange, convoluted logic.38: What recharges them when they’re feeling drained? Taking naps, cuddling with someone, or laying down in a quiet room before his mutation goes out of control.39: Would you say that they have a superiority-complex? Inferiority-complex? Neither? More of an inferiority complex, though he rarely lashes out due to his warped self-perception. So maybe neither, and just non-existent self-esteem?40: How misanthropic are they? Very much not, for the most part. There's plenty of things about humanity to dislike, but there's infinitely more things to love. Feliciano wants to make humanity better!41: Hobbies? Cooking, exploring, surfing the internet, watching movies, and drawing.42: How far did they get in formal education? What are their views on formal education vs self-education? Feliciano never had a "formal" education outside of the education granted to him at Weeds. Education is important and something everyone should have access to, whether it's formal education or self-education. Knowledge is power.43: Religion? Not religious. He was not raised in religion, nor has he learned much of any religion specifically. He was raised to be accepting of all religious beliefs, to better facilitate any future owners, but he honestly doesn't care what anyone believes in so long as they respect their fellow human.44: Superstitions or views on the occult? Doesn't know many superstitions, nor had he delved much into the ideas of the fantastical. However, mutants exist, so who knows what's out there!45: Do they express their thoughts through words or deeds? When it's emotions and thoughts he chooses to express, Feliciano will utilize both words and deeds to get his point across, though actions are easier than words. However, it's often his expressions and actions that express the thoughts he'd rather hide.46: If they were to fall in love, who (or what) is their ideal? *cough*Ludwig Beilschmidt*cough* I MEAN! Someone who is kind, thoughtful, considerate to others, and willing to be open with him.47: How do they express love? With words and actions! Often lavishing compliments, hugs, kisses, cuddles, and attention on the people the care about. Feliciano also does his best to take care of the people he cares about, and puts their physical and mental well being well above his own.48: If this person were to get into a fist fight, what is their fighting style like? If given a choice, Feliciano wouldn't fight at all (and has actively let himself be beaten up or physically abused in order to avoid hurting others). However, if he's forced to fight, he will aim for the weakest places of the human body. Nothing is too low or dirty.49: Is this person afraid of dying? Why or why not? Feliciano is not afraid of death: he is afraid of the effects death has on his loved ones left behind, and what happens to a person after death itself. However, Feliciano will not allow anyone to die if he has anything to say about it. He would rather die than witness the death of someone else. Not again.

Post by Roderich Edelstein on Jun 10, 2016 19:03:01 GMT -5
1: What does their bedroom look like? Roderich's bedroom is medium sized, with a large bed very good for laying on, and the bed sheets and duvet match other fabrics in the room - Roderich likes having a consistent theme. It's rather old-fashioned in style; wood paneling with painted indigo accents with quite a bit devoted to closet and storage space. There's a full length triple panel mirror in the room but he tries not to spend too much time looking at it. Quite a few ashtrays and some sheets of paperwork are lying around it.2: Do they have any daily rituals? His hair takes a bit of work a quite some upkeep - he has to cut it just right every time, but every day he teases it so has more volume and wave than it normally does. When not going to work, he has a strange way of waking up - getting himself food, and then returning to bed for an hour or two of more sleep. Before bed each night he holds a rosary in his hand for one minute.3: Do they exercise, and if so, what do they do? How often? L.O.L. (does waist-training count?)
4: What would they do if they needed to make dinner but the kitchen was busy? Promptly order everyone in there out - there's very few people he trusts in the kitchen as he works, especially when they fuss about cleaning and how he cooks.5: Cleanliness habits (personal, workspace, etc.) Honestly, as much as Roderich prefers a tidiness he's prone to clutter, especially since he's working so hard that cleaning up when coming home is a daunting task. Sometimes the old cups of coffee spend a couple of days, collecting and the ashtrays might overfill before he empties, and quite a bit of paper since Archadia's terrible with going paperless.
6: Eating habits and sample daily menu Roderich likes rich foods - but not paying for it. He also has a voracious sweet-tooth and is known for it; he tries to eat less and his waist-training and tobacco addiction help in curbing his appetite.
Breakfast: Coffee, usually some sort of pastry or semmeln with some type of cured meat and cheese, or maybe with some sort of jam. Daily snacks: usually has some sort of neopolitan wafer stashed away even if he can't get the original Manner one that easily. Nibbles of them throughout the day, and refills his coffee. Lunch: a soup or stew of some sort he can get from the administration's cafeteria, piece of bread. Otherwise some sort of salad - he doesn't feel much hunger due to waist (also coffee). Dinner tends to be heavier though the portions are small - mostly traditional Southern Germanic/Central European foods along with some additions he has added from living in Russia. Example: Gulasch, or maybe a schnitzel - and he ends the day off with a glass of wine and cake before bed, having relax his restraints.7: Favorite way to waste time and feelings surrounding wasting time He's the ultimate procrastinator - finding ways to taste time is easy and often times it involves doing one of his hobbies - playing or listening to music, sewing something, or trying to paint. Of course he justifies these as necessary. The ways of wasting time he regrets are more of the hour or two spent on watching piano-playing cats or elaborate dessert recipe videos. 8: Favorite indulgence and feelings surrounding indulging Roderich has quite a few of these - mostly food. And how much he loves his rich, decadent desserts and sweets. While he's happily fine being frugal in everything else, touch his foold quality and you'll be sorry.9: Makeup? (does nice smelling hand lotion count?) Never except for when he has TV appearances and needs something to stop the sweating from hot lights on him. Generally he's never needed it, thankfully. He has little idea what to do with it.
10: Neuroses? Do they recognize them as such? And how. Besides the PTSD (grown more controlled over the years) from the mutant attack as a child - enough that he would cower from mutants and refuse to go swimming for two years after that incident, he's not a very mentally healthy person. The most obvious is this obsession with appearance he has - he's constantly fixating on how he looks and presents himself and goes through a fair bit of trouble, ranging from wearing low-prescription glasses he doesn't really need to his waist training. In other ways, he represses most of his emotions and rarely lets others know what he feels, finding venting through his hobbies a 'safer' alternative. His perfectionism and cigarette dependence are also signs of maladaptive behaviors. But the deepest, most harmful one is the one that allows him to cling to his beliefs and ambitions, disregarding all morals he may have had in order to keep a sense of stability as he goes on with his life.11: Intellectual pursuits? 12: Favorite book genre? 13: Sexual Orientation? And, regardless of own orientation, thoughts on sexual orientation in general? 14: Physical abnormalities? (Both visible and not, including injuries/disabilities, long-term illnesses, food-intolerances, etc.) 15: Biggest and smallest short term goal? 16: Biggest and smallest long term goal? 17: Preferred mode of dress and rituals surrounding dress 18: Favorite beverage? 19: What do they think about before falling asleep at night? 20: Childhood illnesses? Post by Nickolaus F. Beilschmidt on Jun 11, 2016 9:04:10 GMT -5
Nickolaus Friedrich Beilschmidt1: What does their bedroom look like? Nico's bedroom is still rather plain and empty, but he and Gilbert are slowly working on getting it to look more like a bedroom rather than a glorified playroom/library with a bed. Stuffed bears are placed neatly in one of the corners at his desk, and only one special one sits on his bed; the very one he cuddles with at night for comfort. He has a large bookshelf filled with picture books and simple fairytales, ones he often requests for Gilbert to read for him before bed. On the walls are posters of the latest superhero movie and cartoons, along with some of his own artwork. A large schedule whiteboard is also leaning against the wall from the ground, one thing that helps Nickolaus stay on schedule during his daytime hours. Other than that, there is not much more in Nickolaus' room, as he spends more times outside of it anyway. His current mission is to try and get Gilbert to allow a television in his room... But that seems as though it'll be a tough battle to win. Especially since, after moving in with his brother, the child has become "slightly" addicted to Disney movies and can watch them all day.
2: Do they have any daily rituals? Nickolaus himself doesn't have a daily ritual. If anything, he just goes along with the adult in the house, following what they're doing and trying to copy them instead of coming up with his own activities. However, he does like to follow his own simplified planner to the best of his own abilities, often going off to check on it. Because of this, he can get quite disturbed if the adult doesn't follow or fit his own schedule, which in turn can sometimes result in a grouchy child throwing a temper tantrum.
3: Do they exercise, and if so, what do they do? How often? Nickolaus only exercises if the adult in his vision is doing so. He has his own kiddy versions of weights that don't weigh more than a few ounces, and will often join in the 'training' he sees others doing by grabbing those and doing the same movements. He's also not much for sports himself, a child who rather stays inside and reads a book or watch movies. His exercise consists of what normal toddlers his age do however; climbing onto everything, jumping, running, skipping, and falling flat on his face every chance he gets.
4: What would they do if they needed to make dinner but the kitchen was busy? First of all, Nickolaus is unable to cook dinner for himself to begin with. If the kitchen is busy when he's hungry and bored however, nothing will stop him of trying to help out by carrying plates or mixing food off of the stove, or maybe sprinkling cheese on whatever dish provided. In other words, he's a weasel that will walk all over around whoever is in the kitchen, unaware of the dangers the kitchen itself has. If he is hungry and nobody is willing to make something for him however, he can attempt to play with fire, knives, and try to make some original meal himself..... Or he can settle with some animal crackers he finds in a bag in the pantry. Either or.
5: Cleanliness habits (personal, workspace, etc.) Despite his age, Nickolaus doesn't leave a mess everywhere he goes. He is very much a clean child, who would rather keep things in order than to drag everything out and decide what to play with only then. In fact, he enjoys spending his free time sometimes just putting things in groups or order, lining tiny toys into lines across the floor, or making sure every stuffed animal is upright in his room. He also loves to help out with daily cleaning activities such as mopping and vacuuming, as little as he can do. Just don't give this kid a pencil, crayon, pen, or any writing utensil without paper. He doesn't care for what he draws/colors on.
6: Eating habits and sample daily menu Nickolaus is a very picky eater, and it's hard to get him to eat new foods he hasn't tried before. Some he managed to get through, such as mac and cheese, thanks to Alfred's unhealthy diet while watching him, but at first that too, Nickolaus refused to eat, saying it was 'icky yellow goo on the noodles'. He does have a major hate for anything carrots however, and this just seems to be his worst enemy when it comes to mealtimes. Anything carrot, he will not touch. The taste makes him spit it out immediately, and the color is another big thing that makes him go 'ewwww'. And though Nickolaus himself doesn't get to pick his own menu seeing Gilbert or Alfred is the one in charge of such, on a perfect day, this would be Nickolaus' menu. Breakfast: Waffles, sausage, small serving of berries, and milk. Maybe yogurt. Lunch: Spaghetti or some other sort of pasta (lasagna, ravioli, any of the sort works), broccoli downed in cheese, tomatoes and/or cucumbers, and juice. Snack: Animal crackers, chocolate, or a small pound cake. He also loves pudding, gummy bears, or practically any sort of fruit. Dinner: Wurst, MASHED POTATOES, corn, maybe small ice cream dessert on the side. ...But no, he probably won't ever get that menu pfft
7: Favorite way to waste time and feelings surrounding wasting time There is no time to waste in Nickolaus' eyes. He has all the time in the world, but it's always busy with new ideas, activities, and exploration. Because of this, he doesn't understand the concept of 'wasting time', because there's always something new going on. From an adult perspective, this child spends a lot of time drawing, reading, or watching movies.
8: Favorite indulgence and feelings surrounding indulging Books. Books, books, books, books, and books. Nickolaus loves reading, and feels most happy when he's allowed to just sit and do so. Of course, he doesn't feel anything about being indulged, seeing he just does it for himself and doesn't think twice about it being something... Special?
9: Makeup? That's girls stuff. Ew.
10: Neuroses? Do they recognize them as such? Major separation anxiety, especially when it comes to Gilbert or Alfred. He also has nightly night terrors as a result of light PTSD, abandonment issues, and self-loathe. Wow a lot is wrong with this kid, man. XD
11: Intellectual pursuits? Nah.
12: Favorite book genre? Action, sci-fi, fantasy, and adventure.
13: Sexual Orientation? And, regardless of own orientation, thoughts on sexual orientation in general? ...I mean, he's 4. He's still at the "EWWW GIRLS" stage... Feli is a different story, though. He doesn't have an opinion really on any sexual orientation in general? : /
14: Physical abnormalities? (Both visible and not, including injuries/disabilities, long-term illnesses, food-intolerances, etc.) None.
15: Biggest and smallest short term goal? Biggest: Get Gilbert to start being nice to the other man in the house, which Gilbert calls is his imaginary friend. It's not nice he keeps ignoring him... Smallest: Draw a lot of pictures of Alfred and Gilbert and him playing together!
16: Biggest and smallest long term goal? Biggest: Be a good boy so he can turn back into a human one day. Smallest: Get Gilbert and Alfred to live together with him.
17: Preferred mode of dress and rituals surrounding dress Nickolaus prefers to wear the outfit his parents got him used to wearing; a hat, cape-like drape, and pumpkin pants with brown boots. However, after having started living with Gilbert, he learned of regular clothing much easier to move around in. Because of this, he is often seen wearing everyday clothing as a normal child his age would, something easy to put on and take off, a breeze to wash and hard to tear. Not much with a fashion sense anyway, he depends on Gilbert to pick out his clothes for him.
18: Favorite beverage? Any type of 100% juices, really.
19: What do they think about before falling asleep at night? About his day, and about the very book Gilbert or Alfred would be reading to him at the time. He easily is able to drift to sleep when he isn't thinking of his parents back home or 'monsters' walking all over in the city.
20: Childhood illnesses? Any interesting stories behind them? Nickolaus has a weak immune system. He easily catches on any illnesses that can be going around, and vaccinations can result in his temperatures skyrocketing within the hours. Once he catches something, it's also hard to get rid of it, and a simple cold can last several weeks, even a month at a time. Nickolaus clearly remembers his parents speaking of him when he falls ill, something that they didn't sign up for and that is a burden, so he feels fear when he falls ill thinking Gilbert and Alfred too, would abandon him at the spot by feeling they don't want to deal with him. This results in Nico trying his best to hide the fact he's sick, making it that much harder once he can't hide it anymore, seeing it would already be at a peak stage at that point. It'd be a good idea to check on for any fevers when the boy is acting weak or isn't running around climbing onto everything as any four year old would.
21: Turn-ons? Turn-offs? He's 4 omg.
22: Given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen? Well, at least he got paper. Giving those materials, Nickolaus would sit in spot and start drawing or practicing his letters. That one piece of paper and pencil can last hours seeing he would only write or draw over whatever he made if he runs out of space.
23: How organized are they? How does this organization/disorganization manifest in their everyday life? He is very organized for his age. As stated previously, he loves putting things in order groups, and would do it on his own if he finds disorganization. He may or may not have put Alfred's DVDs in order as well, so he could find The Lion King the moment he wants to watch it. Since he also heavily relies on the schedule Gilbert made up for him, if disorganized and that taken froom him, he would most likely not know what to do. Freeze in spot, if one must say.
24: Is there one subject of study that they excel at? Or do they even care about intellectual pursuits at all? It wouldn't be considered much of a study perhaps, but Nickolaus is able to read books a first grader would read early on. He's a bit ahead in literacy in that case. Writing and speaking are different stories however, seeing he still cannot write the whole alphabet and struggles with word pronunciations in daily communication.
25: How do they see themselves 5 years from today? "I'm a real boy now! "
26: Do they have any plans for the future? Any contingency plans if things don’t workout?
27: What is their biggest regret?
28: Who do they see as their best friend? Their worst enemy?
29: Reaction to sudden extrapersonal disaster (eg The house is on fire! What do they do?)
30: Reaction to sudden intrapersonal disaster (eg close family member suddenly dies)
31: Most prized possession?
32: Thoughts on material possessions in general?
33: Concept of home and family?
34: Thoughts on privacy? (Are they a private person, or are they prone to ‘TMI’?)
35: What activities do they enjoy, but consider to be a waste of time?
36: What makes them feel guilty?
37: Are they more analytical or more emotional in their decision-making?
38: What recharges them when they’re feeling drained?
39: Would you say that they have a superiority-complex? Inferiority-complex? Neither?
40: How misanthropic are they?
41: Hobbies?
42: How far did they get in formal education? What are their views on formal education vs self-education?
43: Religion?
44: Superstitions or views on the occult?
45: Do they express their thoughts through words or deeds?
46: If they were to fall in love, who (or what) is their ideal?

Oh cool, something to do when I'm bored= 本田菊 KIKU HONDA
1: What does their bedroom look like? Fairly simplistic. In one corner of the room is his bed, a low-rising futon similar in style to this. In the other corner on the same side as his bed is a large desk with a TV mounted above it. On the desk, he keeps his laptop and smaller game consoles. In the larger desk drawers are his larger game systems which he only takes out if he decides to play some video games. He also keep a journal hidden away in a desk drawer in which he logs about his activities since arriving in Archadia. As these often include classified topics, he writes them entirely in Japanese. Opposite both the desk and bed is his closet in which he has his Western clothes hung up and his Japanese clothes folded up neatly and stored in drawers. Also in his closet is his hidden door which leads up to his 'studio'. The mechanism to open the door is hidden so only he knows how to open it.2: Do they have any daily rituals? He enjoys taking walks around his area of the city, preferably either as the sun is setting or once the stars have come out.3: Do they exercise, and if so, what do they do? How often? Almost every day. He does run a dojo after all. Most of the time, his exercises consists of kendo or karate practice as it's easier for him to practice those alone.4: What would they do if they needed to make dinner but the kitchen was busy? As he lives alone and doesn't often bring people into his apartment, it's very unlikely that his kitchen would be in use. However if the situation should ever arise, he will decide on take-out food from whatever is nearby.5: Cleanliness habits (personal, workspace, etc.) Extremely tidy, there is absolutely nothing out of place in his home. The only time anything would be in disarray would be the rare moments when he locks himself up in his bedroom.6: Eating habits and sample daily menu Rice will always be a staple for him. Anything else he eats will vary but he rarely misses a meal.7: Favorite way to waste time and feelings surrounding wasting time Video games, manga or anime, and cuddling his pets. How is any of that wasting time? If there's nothing to do, anything to pass the time isn't wasteful...right?8: Favorite indulgence and feelings surrounding indulging TV drama programs or online shopping. Why not splurge on something enjoyable? Especially after a particularly busy or stressful day.9: Makeup? He vaguely knows various terms and how to use it but has no need to put that to practice.10: Neuroses? Do they recognize them as such? Anxiety and arsonphobia. In general, his anxiety isn't severe enough that he's ever thought to inquire about a diagnosis. He shakes it off as stressing over various aspects of his daily life. In terms of his arsonphobia, it would only showcase itself when there is a violent or uncontrollable fire/explosion and namely if it is due to effects from a mutant. As Kiku has never seen such a show save from when he received his burns (which caused the fear), he is completely unaware of his phobia.11: Intellectual pursuits? Anything really. Preferably anything he would be able to teach himself.12: Favorite book genre? Fantasy and adventure with the occasional dark themed books.13: Sexual Orientation? And, regardless of own orientation, thoughts on sexual orientation in general? Bisexual. Kiku has no issues with other orientations, it's the business of the other people and they can choose whatever orientation they please.14: Physical abnormalities? (Both visible and not, including injuries/disabilities, long-term illnesses, food-intolerances, etc.) Two scars on his right side he obtained at the age of ten when he saved a mutant child from being hit by a car. One is on his hip and the other is on his thigh. Over time, the two scars have almost doubled in size.15: Biggest and smallest short term goal? Helping the mutants he currently has under his care; finding any sort of rare item to add to his collection.16: Biggest and smallest long term goal? Changing the mindset people have about mutants and simultaneously setting them all free; settling into a comfortable lifestyle where he doesn't have to fear being caught as a criminal.17: Preferred mode of dress and rituals surrounding dress Loose comfortable clothing. At home, he is either wearing comfortable track suits or a yukata of some sort. When he adventures outside his apartment, he will be wearing loose but tasteful clothes. Nothing too fancy but nothing too casual either.18: Favorite beverage? Tea. He'll drink any kind of tea but his favorite is specifically green tea. He finds it very soothing.19: What do they think about before falling asleep at night? Nothing. He tries to clear his mind the instant he's under the covers. If he can't focus and clear his mind through meditation or any other method, his thoughts will continue swirling and he'll stay up late into the night.20: Childhood illnesses? Any interesting stories behind them? A severe case of influenza he contracted in elementary school. With how high his fever was and how severe his symptoms were, his parents were scared half to death and kept him out of school for almost a month to make sure he recovered fine.21: Turn-ons? Turn-offs? Turn-ons: Confident, gentle, mindful. Turn-off: Too clingy, bullshit, lack of respect.22: Given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen? Kiku would doodle. Typically there's no form or formula to what he draws, just mindless lines and shapes that end up in something more abstract.23: How organized are they? How does this organization/disorganization manifest in their everyday life? Extremely organized. Absolutely nothing is out of place in his dojo or apartment. Everything has its place and if there ever is something strewn about, it will always be put away by the end of the day.24: Is there one subject of study that they excel at? Or do they even care about intellectual pursuits at all? Martial arts. It's the only thing he's been consistent with. Though in terms of school subjects, he is most knowledgeable about history and STEM courses.25: How do they see themselves 5 years from today? He knows it to be ambitious but he hopes he will be able to send the mutants he helps back to apartments in their own country where they won't have to be monitored by a human.26: Do they have any plans for the future? Any contingency plans if things don’t work out? His plans remain heavily reliant on how the world sees mutants. His future will constantly be focused on helping them and only once that is accomplished will he consider what he wants to do with his own future. If things don't end up working out for him, that would imply someone has found out about his actions. If he has the chance, he will flee and go into hiding. If he is captured, he will very likely kill himself if there's no hope of escape.27: What is their biggest regret? Possibly ever having sympathy for mutants. He wouldn't change his opinions for the world but sometimes he wonders if his life would've ended up happier and safer if he had never felt the urge to help them. And then he promptly regrets ever thinking like that==28: Who do they see as their best friend? Their worst enemy? There is no one he considers either a best friend or enemy. Only his pets Pochi and Tama come close to being best friends.29: Reaction to sudden extrapersonal disaster (eg The house is on fire! What do they do?) Some level of shock but nothing too severe to cause him to cease function. He can always replace what might have been lost, though he would be disappointed and a bit discouraged if what was lost included items that took him lots of time or money to obtain.30: Reaction to sudden intrapersonal disaster (eg close family member suddenly dies) A much more severe level of shock. He would likely shut himself away and fall into a hikikomori lifestyle for some time before he recovered from the event. Even more so if it were either Pochi or Tama especially.31: Most prized possession? His pets. Though in terms of inanimate objects, his most prized possession would most likely be his computer.32: Thoughts on material possessions in general? There's absolutely nothing wrong with them. He does think it a bit overkill if one has more excess than is really necessary (ie several vehicles, unneeded renovations or expansions, etc) but he wouldn't condemn someone for having too much excess.33: Concept of home and family? Those that love and care for him. Those that would never betray him.34: Thoughts on privacy? (Are they a private person, or are they prone to ‘TMI’?) Extremely private, possibly private to a fault. Unless you are special, you will hardly get anything of great value out of his mouth.35: What activities do they enjoy, but consider to be a waste of time? Gaming.36: What makes them feel guilty? Not being able to hold true to something he may have said. He finds it to be a disgrace if he's unable to keep up his end of a bargain.37: Are they more analytical or more emotional in their decision-making? Kiku likes to think he's very analytical in his thinking and for the most part, he is...however, there are times when he can be put into situations where his emotions on a topic overwhelm his analytical mind and he reacts out of impulse. He does a good job on controlling himself but if he gets too worked up and emotional about something, it's very likely anything analytical will fly out the nearest window.38: What recharges them when they’re feeling drained? A nice relaxing bath.39: Would you say that they have a superiority-complex? Inferiority-complex? Neither? If anything, likely inferiority-complex. Constantly bearing viewpoints and traits in the minority can do that.40: How misanthropic are they? Extremely reclusive, Kiku prefers to keep to himself. Socialization wears him down so he doesn't try to put himself out there a lot.41: Hobbies? Photography and collecting, however his collecting habits have since diminished after arriving in Russia and he had even sold a great deal of his collection to gather enough money to start himself off in Archadia. From time to time, he'll look around online for various merchandise he's had his eye on but he will only purchase them if he deems the item worthy of paying the high shipping to get it to Russia. His photography, on the other hand, he keeps up avidly. He will never hesitate to buy the newest state of the art DSLR camera or any lens attachments and other equipment.42: How far did they get in formal education? What are their views on formal education vs self-education? In terms of completion, junior high school. He had enrolled into high school but only made it halfway before he shut down and became a hikikomori.43: Religion? Doesn't have much of an opinion on it. Religion's fine as long as you don't try shoving it down his throat.44: Superstitions or views on the occult? He tries not to be superstitious but sometimes a crack in silverware when he is otherwise careful with his belongings or some other strange omen will cause him to think twice about if it could mean something. It doesn't help that he grew up loving anything and everything mythical. After all, supernatural mutations are possible so who's to say the occult could be real too?45: Do they express their thoughts through words or deeds? Typically both but he is very aware that not everyone shares the same views he does. Around people who share his viewpoints, he will speak more honestly but he won't open up enough to do so unless he's been around said people enough and know they won't abuse whatever he says. In general, you can always trust Kiku's actions, his deeds will always remain truthful. Don't listen to what he says, he often lies to hide his ideology and to gain the trust of those with opposing viewpoints. If it can grant him into the good graces of an opposing powerful entity, he will slander names and give them exactly what they want to hear.46: If they were to fall in love, who (or what) is their ideal? Someone he can trust with everything and who won't betray that trust. Someone kind and considerate who would like to snuggle but also understands he needs his personal space at times. Someone who will fully accept all aspects of him.47: How do they express love? Through small, seemingly meaningless gestures. It could be breakfast in bed, a good morning or good night message, asking if they've been staying warm, stopping by their home to drop off something he noticed they never owned, and anything else of the like. It may not manifest at the start, but if it were with his lover he would adore cuddling or, in the case of being with another man, being cuddled as he would love feeling secure in someone's arms.48: If this person were to get into a fist fight, what is their fighting style like? Heavy on defensive tactics. The martial arts he knows, for the most part, are not offensive. He will use the opponent's own strength and turn it against them.49: Is this person afraid of dying? Why or why not? If he were younger, sure. But with his actions upon arriving in Archadia, he is fully aware he will be branded a criminal if discovered and no longer fears what could happen to him. He will of course still try to prevent that from ever happening but if he is ever cornered and there is no chance of escape, he won't hesitate to kill himself to prevent what he knows from becoming common knowledge.

Wow. Another way to procrastinate on getting real work done.
1: What does their bedroom look like?
It's pretty unkempt, unlike the rest of the spaces he occupies. The door is always locked and he's positive that no one else will ever be in there, so he doesn't mind letting it go and being a mess. His desk area is always clear and carefully cared for, since his desktop is there, but the rest of the room is littered with clean and dirty clothes and at least three dirty mugs. He rarely sleeps in his bed, because he so often dozes off on the couch or his desk, so it's unmade and generally covered in things he uses more frequently. There are a few posters of pop groups and video games, but in general, the room is sparsely decorated as a large portion of his salary goes into his devices.
2: Do they have any daily rituals?
He always has a cup of coffee when he wakes up. Similarly, he always sends his childhood friend, Kerli, a message in the mornings (or afternoons depending on his sleep/work schedule).
3: Do they exercise, and if so, what do they do? How often?
LOL... Does walking to the bus stop count as exercise?
4: What would they do if they needed to make dinner but the kitchen was busy?
Wait. Going out would take too long and he's usually busy doing something else. He'll go in when everyone has left and make something that would take five minutes or less to be as efficient as possible.
5: Cleanliness habits (personal, workspace, etc.)
His room is awful, but he keeps the rest of his apartment very tidy. Everything in the rest of his place is where it should be. The dishes are always clean as he does them immediately after and the carpet is vacuumed often. His work space at city hall is neatly organized and spotless and his bags rarely contain more than four items. Cleanliness comes with the fact that he wants to come across as someone who has his act together; someone in control.
6: Eating habits and sample daily menu
His meals are pretty inconsistent. He forgets meals often and generally will eat when it becomes a distraction away from whatever he's working on. Despite that, when he eats, it's relatively healthy. He'll grab a piece of good, rye bread before work with his coffee, generally forget to bring something or work through lunch, and then come home and make something quick out of the remaining rye bread and whatever sausage and cheese he has in the fridge.... and sour cream because he has a problem. If he wakes up in the middle of the night, he might microwave a potato or an instant meal to tide himself over.
7: Favorite way to waste time and feelings surrounding wasting time
VIDEO GAMES. He loves them. Especially strategy games and MMOs. In addition, he enjoys building his own programs as they restore his faith in his biggest passion outside of work. He'll justify them to himself, but because of the sheer number of hours that he spends on his hobbies without stopping, he'll lie about just how long in conversation with others. Three hours sounds a lot better than playing something all night for nine hours straight instead of sleeping.
8: Favorite indulgence and feelings surrounding indulging
Alcohol. He knows he has a problem but makes no effort to fix it.
9: Makeup?
He tried a concealer once because he found it in a bargain bin and he wanted to cover the dark circles under his eyes. He also forgot he was the whitest human alive and that the color was way too dark. He looked so stupid and the embarrassment of it made him never touch it again.
10: Neuroses? Do they recognize them as such?
Has pretty bad anxiety that only got worse with Archadia. Before, it was manageable, but now, he frequently has trouble sleeping, wakes up several times in the middle of the night, and has frequent panic attacks. He's trying his best to keep them under control and, under most circumstances, is able to fake his way through his crippling anxiety, but with recent events, it's getting more difficult. Likewise, he's developed PTSD from the cruel reality of his job; seeing a man bleed out on the floor. Everything is made worse by the fact that alcohol is his crutch to deal with all of it.
11: Intellectual pursuits?
He loves technology and computers to no end and both the mathematical theory behind how they function to actual coding and programming. He adores computational complexity theory from the theoretical side, and uses his solutions to computational problems in order to help secure the city's digital records and data. He also has a deep love of math in general, and a passion for both creating and decoding programs themselves.
12: Favorite book genre?
Has a soft spot for adventure, sci-fi, and fantasy in addition to non-fiction.
13: Sexual Orientation? And, regardless of own orientation, thoughts on sexual orientation in general?
Pansexual. He's pretty non-judgmental about sexual orientation as a whole, but won't speak of his own unless pressured to. Even then, he'll blow it off and say it doesn't matter either way. He's not in denial, but does not think of it as a big deal. Also, he's worried about the negative consequences of being anything besides straight, and since he's only dated women and is more career focused than relationship focused, doesn't feel the need to elaborate.
14: Physical abnormalities? (Both visible and not, including injuries/disabilities, long-term illnesses, food-intolerances, etc.)
This kid's vision is the absolute worst. He can't see without his glasses at all and is rendered useless without them. Because of a weird aversion to touching his eyes, he can't deal with contact lenses either. He also has food sensitivity to citrus fruits.
15: Biggest and smallest short term goal?
Biggest: Updating the security systems for city hall. Smallest: Sending his mother a card and small present for her birthday.
16: Biggest and smallest long term goal?
Biggest: Being able to settle into domestic life with a fulfilling, well-paying job (potentially with a leadership position) in addition to falling in love and getting married. Smallest: Forming friendships in Archadia to keep himself sane.
17: Preferred mode of dress and rituals surrounding dress
His suits are always pristine; he gets them dry-cleaned and they're kept pressed in clothing bags on hangers until he wears them. The rest of his clothes are a crapshoot of clean and dirty that he gets done at the cheap laundromat down the street. He's a practical dresser in casual situations, and generally has clothing more for the function than the fashion. He dresses for the weather, and has a lot of bargain t-shirts, sweatshirts and jeans. A lot of the t-shirts themselves were free from various events. Despite that, his mother kept him supplied with a collection of sweaters for the colder months, and he wears them almost exclusively during the winter.
18: Favorite beverage?
Alcohol problem aside, he legitimately likes the taste of good vodka and beer.
19: What do they think about before falling asleep at night?
He tries to go to bed working out problems in his head, in addition to preparing fake dialogues of how he'll present them; even if it's just the character specs for a game. However, his mind wanders easily. Before his wake up call at city hall, it would generally be to Kerli, his undergrad friends, and his folks... a wave of homesickness. Now, since the image of a dying man is so fresh in his mind, his thoughts always go back to that, rendering it impossible to fall asleep.
20: Childhood illnesses? Any interesting stories behind them?
Nothing too bad. Just that he and his childhood friend were always together and using each other's stuff, so if one of them was sick; they both were. He got head lice three times because of sharing hats with her much to his mother's exasperation.
21: Turn-ons? Turn-offs?
Turn-ons: ✧・゚: *✧Kindness and Confidence.✧・゚: *✧ Cheesy, but also the main reason why Eduard ends up crushing mostly on friends. Turn-offs: Unequal power dynamics/control in relationships. Likewise, assigned "roles" to a relationship. ex: Who wears the pants in the relationship?
22: Given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen?
He'd work out algorithms to hypothetical, safe questions (basically, not work related). If not that, then he'd plan out the builds/stats/classes of his video game characters and doodle geometric shapes.
23: How organized are they? How does this organization/disorganization manifest in their everyday life?
As a whole, he's very organized because he hates to have stuff he doesn't need. His devices in particular are sorted down to the point where even the files in the garbage probably have designated folders. However, he lets himself go with his room; showing the divide between his image and the leeway he allows himself behind closed doors. His organization doesn't come naturally, but is ridiculously self-regulated.
24: Is there one subject of study that they excel at? Or do they even care about intellectual pursuits at all?
He cared a lot about his education for one; graduating with cum laude both during undergrad and during his masters. His subjects of interest that he excels at are computer science and maths, and enjoys both the practical and theoretical sides of both. He stays up to date with current, technological advancements as much as he can.
25: How do they see themselves 5 years from today?
For the first time in his life, Eduard doesn't think much of the future and takes things day by day. He's scared and nervous about what the future will bring, and just hopes that he and his friends and family will be safe and stable at that point. He knows he'll be equivalent to a walking corpse if he doesn't leave his job, since disconnecting is the only way to work anymore.
26: Do they have any plans for the future? Any contingency plans if things don’t workout?
He has his idealistic ones of leaving and going into a comfortable domestic life. However, he worries immensely about them not working out. He worked really hard to get to where he was and, now that he's there, got a slap in the face of reality in terms of corruption and moral struggles. Honestly, he would be fine with leaving and not remaining involved, but since he feels stuck, his plans for an idealistic future have had to be put temporarily on hold to get through day-to-day life.
47: How do they express love?
48: If this person were to get into a fist fight, what is their fighting style like?
49: Is this person afraid of dying? Why or why not?
