friends Ah, friends. Roderich has some 'friends', powerful ones that he has seeked the favor of - but no true friends, having lost the ability to make those years ago. He'll attempt, once in a while, but the only friends he seeks are the ones that can do something for him - and not the ones who can uncover the mask he's been wearing all these years.  lovers Distractions. Nuisances. What are lovers to someone who has other things on his mind? Roderich shoved all of that aside the day he realized his boyfriend wasn't coming back - and replaced love with ambition. And yet, years spent cold and detached have done little for his happiness, and now, having climbed the ladder, wouldn't this be the time to look for someone to share his wins with? Roderich's torn between wanting to continue keeping everyone away or to invite someone new into his life. enemies It's the nature of his job to assume everyone else is an Enemy - and Roderich certain he has enemies in spades, waiting to cast him down. But he'll approach them like a 'friend' anyway, because Roderich is a civil man. Could that civility fall apart if strained? Is he mere beast underneath finery and social niceties? Perhaps he'll make enemy worthy of finding out.

Vash  Zwingli MUTANT → 24 → EX-MIA → EX-Boyfriend Once a best friend and lover, now practically a unliked stranger, there is no one who has shaped Rod into who he is now but Vash. And yet, despite the many attempts to cut all ties between them, Roderich finds Zwingli constantly back in his life one way or another. Now with the reveal of the fact that man has been a mutant all this time, Roderich finds himself confronting pent up feelings of betrayal as he realizes the clean up from the scandal left his wake and the fate of Vash himself is in his hands. Though there is definitely curiosity there about Eliza, coupled with some respect, Rod finds himself wary of outright engaging her in case she turns out ot be her mother's daughter. PLAYed BY LEIA
MIHAI CRISTIAN ELIADE Mutant → 22 → Govt property → assignment A government-owned mutant involved in the breakout and subsequent Zwingli scandal, Roderich was assigned to interrogate him after the breakout, after watching his torture. The experience, and watching Eliade heal from it during their already uncomfortable talk has unsettled Roderich extremely. PLAYed BY Worldie	Vaughan Rees Human → 32 → unknown → H.A.P,S. member A strange newcomer to the Humans Advancement and Preservation Society, it hasn't escaped Rod's notice that this man is deliberately stirring the pot - into a rather volatile concoction.
