Nah. She's motherly as heck and has survived on scraps before. If she saw him leave her food, it would be grounds for her to scold him. I also just realized that their different accents would be hilarious. She's only been speaking English and Russian years 5-6ish years. She's not that great at it. Poor Maria wouldn't be able to understand him half the time. And, she totally talks to Santa Muerte to herself all the time. He'd think she was crazy. <3

I feel bad because I haven't replied to this or anything is so long. But yeah he really is the opposite. Hamish is tall and extremely pale. Seeing him might really make her think she's looking at a ghosts since he doesn't look rather likely. With how pale and sickly he often looks it's almost as though she'd be looking at a black and white photo with only the hair and eyes colored in.

Yeah XD he'll get so mad if she keeps not understanding him because Hamish forgets that no one can easily understand him when he speaks how he does.

Don't feel bad about it. I'm only not just starting to get into the handle of things. XD I only just got back into the States, so don't feel bad about it at all. Oh, no; if he does get mad at her, one of two things will happen. Either she'll snap back at him all sassy-like, or she'll shut down and curl into a ball. It kind of depends. But, the height difference would make her have to lean back all the way to look at him. Nor, do I think, he'd be particularly fond of her being dragged into the cell all the time because she refuses to fight. So, yeah. <3 She would definitely confuse him for a ghostish memory - at least the first time she met him. She'd try to figure out who he belonged to, and then get frustrated when she didn't understand him.

Hahaha. So, I've been trash and havent been on in a long time, but I'd love to plot. Maria's one of the cheapest mutants with one of the creepiest powers, but she's very cheap and compliant.
