Aaaah yeah... back from class to see that the pairings are switched up yet again... ;;; So, why is Peter allowed to fight in the arena? ...fkld;jfiol but yes, plots. The show must go on. -v- Unless this was made clear to the Underground mutants beforehand, I think there's going to be a bit of confusion, not to mention a profound amount of disgust over the fact that these government officials are now throwing children into the arena for the sake of entertainment and money, more so because that hasn't been allowed before. I don't know why, either. Clerical error, perhaps? I do know he'll be shocked and terrified when his name is called and he hasn't expected it. He'll be up there trying to convince himself that it will all be okay, that everything he's been told says that they're built to do this... and it won't end well at all for him, I imagine, though it depends on what fish he's supplied with (i.e, he'll be able to do more damage with a lionfish than with a butterflyfish). He'll be thoroughly crushed. By the brother that he has constantly built up in his head. In a fight that he was thrown into without being prepared. No matter what happens in the fight, he'll have some some serious head-games and mental issues for a while... Anyway, part of me pictures Peter either breaking down in tears or trying to hug Arthur when he hears his last name/recognizes his own face. In the middle of the fight. Which won't go well. And I'm just writing down everything that's in my head in a giant block of text sooo yeah. Like any of this?

Pulling on heartstrings? That may or may not be my job... At any rate, it's going to be a very interesting fight, and yes, it will probably have a lot of feels. I do this to myself way too often... Not the way Peter wanted to meet his brother at all, but I feel like there would be a part of him that was ecstatic simply because he saw him, even though it didn't go that well.
