arthur kirkland IT BEGAN WITH A PEN IN MY HAND FRIENDS Arthur's not exactly the easiest person to get along with (which is probably a bit of an understatement.) He tends to maintain what he considers a necessary distance with others, though it isn't impossible to bypass this. Common interests, hobbies, eccentricities, passions, (or just two evil writers who can't help but to drop circumstances over them. ; are probably the easiest ways to slowly dismantle that self-inflicted wall. Once he does manage to find that camaraderie, it's quite difficult for him to untangle himself. Once truly gained; however, his loyalty is unwavering in it's own way. STABBED IN THE CENTER OF CHAOS ENEMIES This may be an easy category to fill given his sometimes disagreeable nature, though that would be if this extended to dislikes as well. Hatred is a strong term, though Arthur isn't unfamiliar with it. He has a tendency to hold grudges far past what would be considered sensible. Some of Arthur's 'enemies' may also be the complicated sort. -.- In his experience, some have the tendency to go grey depending on the individual. Be it an on-and-off friendship or an attraction. Some passions run similar lines for him, as twisted as that can be. Arthur is also fiercely competitive and happens to receive quite a bit of satisfaction from maintaining a rivalry. ;; TO WRITE OUT THE DARKNESS LOVERS Complicated. Dysfunctional. Messy. Benefits. Sexual tension. Arthur Kirkland doesn't exactly do love. (However, as we all know, anomalies such as love aren't as predictable, measurable, or as neatly categorised as some may choose to believe.) It's messy, it's painful, and it's difficult to describe. He's more prone to the possibility than he realises. Though, if it happens, it happens. No amount of denying is going to change that. Despite what he's already experimented with, he's bound to be as flustered as a virgin whenever he does reach that realisation. THAT LIVES WITHIN ME OTHERS Dysfunction even transcends into what is supposed to be the neutral 'others' territory, as I am throwing family in here. Particularly, family that he has no idea exists. Kirkland drama knows no bounds. I'm interested in fleshing out all the sibling relationships. Encounters, future developments, and all. Everything else or those in-between relationships that have no definition may land here as well, because how common is that? Pff. MADE BY KIROUKO OF GANGNAM-STYLE

Mmk. First off, I have to say that I adore your Ro. He’s amazing. -u- I’d love to plot with you. Looking at what we have with these two, I can see us working with our characters’ eccentricities, dysfunctions, and brokenness into some interesting plottage. They have some common interests as well. Though, honestly, anything with Ro will probably be all sorts of interesting, pfff. But yes. They could’ve met at Weeds and perhaps even got along in their own odd way? Thoughts? ;n;

Well, for starters, I do think there's a good chance of them getting along, plus their powers seem like pretty interesting contrasts to me--just throwing that out there. I can see them being on good terms at least, and maybe friends too? I don't know how many secrets they'd share between them but I'd definitely be open to exploring that too!!
(And then of course we have shipping which is another whole can of worms.)

Haha, yes, their powers would definitely be interesting to dabble with in some future threadage. If I remember correctly, one one of Ro's listed interests is death, amirite? I see some interaction with that, heh. Buut in any case. I'd say friends. especially if they had known each other for almost the entirety of their stay at Weeds. And then of course possible encounters later on. Secrets could be a process with them? xD As with any sort of friendship, they may have gradually shared certain sensitive details throughout the years? Just throwing out ideas. Feel free to change anything!
(That's something that I wouldn't mind going into. -u- If we decide to okay the above plottage with them being somewhat close, then I can definitely see how it wouldn't be at all difficult for them to eventually come across that line.)

Mm--yes. I did list that~ It has a bit more to do with his psyche at the moment though haha. I think their skillsets would be interesting as well tho, since Ro is someone who can't die and Arthur sorta interacts with the dead?

Yes, friends sounds good! I have yet to flesh out exactly what people Ro was able to surround himself with at the Academy, and Arthur's a very good start. uvu I definitely would like to see them in maybe a somewhat closer relationship though, since it really isn't in Ro's nature to be very distant even circumstances being what they are. I wonder if there's any way for them to be in contact still after leaving Weeds??

(Oh yes definitely. I have some other potential ships in the works as well though, just as a warning, but I am definitely open to the possibility. uvu )

Ok good! I’m attempting to do the same at the moment with Arthur regarding his time at Weeds. I can see a closer relationship happening, though. Especially if Ro’s used to closing that distance. I was wondering that about post-contact between them as well, actually. -u- I’m not sure.. Perhaps after their circumstances change with being bought/contracted out, it may be a bit easier to maintain that contact? That all depends, though. I'm also wondering if we’re able to roleplay past events, such as back when they were both in Weeds.

Yeah—I'm sure more relationships will develop once we have an idea who was where at what time haha. Ro is pretty sociable though, it's more of a matter of how close he lets people get before shying away—which mostly has to do with his experiences at Weeds, not so much his own personality. The process of actually opening up may get easier though, if they both took their own steps towards it?? uvu

I might ask around and see what "privileges" Ro will have as someone who works with the gov't. He probably isn't allowed to buy/contract other mutants but he might be able to go see Arthur sometimes—or something like that. We can definitely do past threads though, I'm totally up for that.

Oh absolutely!. -u- It’ll get easier, as with most anything. Haha it sounds like we’re talking about two people who are practicing their homework from therapy sessions. But in some ways, I suppose they are trying to find that semblance of normalcy after going through their own experiences thanks to horrible circumstances. -u- So, yes. I see them both making an effort in their own way.


Oh, that would be great actually! If he does happen to have any of these “privileges,” then he should definitely take advantage! Heh. I can imagine how odd it would be for them visiting on opposite sides of the entire messed up situation—Ro in the government and Art in a cell. -u-


In the meantime, we could start up something past-related? It might help to establish some of the relationship groundwork for these guys.

Yeah. I'm not exactly sure of Arthur's circumstances but Mihai's most definitely fucked up by some of the crap that's happened to him because of his power. "Normalcy" would definitely be welcomed (if it's at all possible) though I'm sure having someone with similar experiences(?) around would be helpful for both.

This is something I'll have to ask the mods about but it would definitely make for a bit of a weird and somewhat sad rendezvous. uvu;

Arthur’s circumstances pertain more to his family as well as events with the mutant community at Weeds. So, certainly not as dramatic as being physically tormented repeatedly in such a manner. ;u; -sudden urge to coddle Ro;;- Though, I suppose different levels and variations of fucked up would be accurate, heh.

We should probably start thinking about how these two realize each other actually exist. They look so alike that just seeing each other might give Peter a clue at least, but how can they possibly meet? Also, Peter's perceived idea of what Arthur should be doesn't match up with who he is, so that will be interesting, once we figure out how to get them to meet. Perhaps it would be easier once Arthur gets purchased by someone... Eh, what say you?
