Friendship is easy to have with Alfred. He's certainly an easy person to talk to, though he may get a little on your nerves at times. However, those are shallow friends. True friends are different.

You have to really gain his trust before he'd consider you a true friend. If you do make it that far though, Alfred's always welcoming new friends and he'll be amongst the most loyal you've ever met. He'll always protect you, even if the world thinks you're wrong. Hell, even if he thinks you're wrong, he'll protect you. That's what friends are supposed to do, right?

ENEMIES

With a habit of forgetting to apologize, Alfred can certainly develop enemies. He is a con artist after all and from time to time, old...friends come to visit. Not to mention, Alfred's stubbornness seems to rub people the wrong way. It doesn't help that he really doesn't care that much that he has enemies. Alfred wants to be liked, but if you're against him, well, then you're against him. He won't go as far to change his opinion or morals just because someone is pissed at him. He'll probably just try to outlast you.

...Also, if you're pro-slavery? You're automatically on Alfred's black list. If he needs to gain your trust, he'll be nice to you. If not...watch your back.

LOVERS

Romance? In one simple word: Alfred is clueless. When he was younger, romance was a common thing...nowadays, it only matters if it helps him get the job done. In fact, he's gotten to the point where he's really rather clueless about the whole ordeal... Alfred's not a romantic at all and he's so focused on the FF at this point that it doesn't even occur to him. So, romance Alfred if you will, but he'll be mostly confused most of the way.

Alfred certainly understands parts of romance and it's not like he's never had romantic attachments. However, he generally considers himself too busy for that and he doesn't particularly want to get attached. Romance is just a tool nowadays.

(Plus he's secretly a virgin.)

I haven't plotted with you yet but I want to! ;u; I really like your Alfred.  That being said I'm a little bit stuck for possible ideas because Lud's stuck in the Underground at the moment, although he's got a little bit of sway there.

;; Thanks! uwu And I really want to plot with you as well. Hmm, well Al has been making quite a few trips to the Underground recently, why not one more? (; He's very flexible, thanks to his job. Though I'm really not sure what sort of person Al would impersonate this time. We could sorta just start bouncing off ideas.

I figure Alfred's done with cons in the Underground for a little while, which sort've limits what we can do (though we could also have him pull an arbitrary con for fun). Alfred doesn't exactly love the Underground too much, sadly. Other excuses to be there...Alfred could be doing work for the FF though I don't know what they'd have him do. asdkghoapweijr

Someone should just buy Luddy so it'll be easier to plot. uwu Hmm, other ideas... Alfred could always impersonate a guard again, trying to talk to some of the mutants and stumble upon Ludwig. Maybe he got directed to the wrong Beilschmidt. XD

...Okay, so I just had a crazy idea.

Since Gilbert totally just pulled the "little brother" card on Alfred, who lost his own little brother three years ago, Alfred now feels very much inclined to help Ludwig or buy him or something of the sort. So how about we have Alfred buy Ludwig during the next auction and plot from there? Alfred now has a bit of an obligation after Gilbert's whole speech.

And that sounds fine with me! Ludwig would be pretty shocked, and I don't know if Alfred would let him know the reason he got helped/bought, but we can definitely plot something using that as a jumping off point! Ludwig would be pretty grateful regardless of what happened and he'd be happy to help out with a lot of things.

Alfred would act so awkward around Ludwig for a while ff. Not to mention Al only has one bed and his loft is basically a gigantic connected room. uwu Alfred will probably insist on crashing on the couch for a while and that'll probably confuse Ludwig. XD And Al's job will be a fun thing to discuss between these two. At any rate, like you said, a good starting point. Now we just have to wait for the next auction... uwu

I have this thought of if Hamish and Alfred ever met he would just be like oh hey you're that guy who robs people during my matches. Haven't you also been a guard before? He'd just start rattling off all the things he has witnessed Alfred try to pull of while in the underground. Hamish has been in the underground for nine years so he notices everything because change is really rare for him to see.

Oh my gosh. XDDD That'd actually be hilarious. Alfred would freak out a little bit. Though I have no idea how they would manage to talk to each other right now unless Al wanders down to the cells again.

Wonders around the cells or see Hammy locked away in solitary confinement because he'll be locked up from time to time thanks to being aggressive to everyone. But seeing Alfred sweat would be fun
