The Basics

When one is dealing with a mysterious, rogue Italian, simply remind yourself "Is the curl near the left ear, or looping from the part?" If the former, then you're in safe(?) hands, because you're dealing with super-calm Feliciano Vargas. Generally speaking, he tries to be friendly to everyone, so no immediate worries about him lashing out. Unfortunately, this may rub against individuals who prefer a more honest approach, but there's nothing one can do about it, really. this Italian is dead-set on being polite to everyone who deserves it [which is pretty much everyone.]

If you're dead-set on being friendly with Feliciano, then you should really just be yourself. [Unless you're a Class A douchebag--then at least try to be friendly and make sure you're getting along before you unleash your true personality] The Synesthete tries very, very hard to take care of people, especially his friends, which is a nice perk! [though don't make him work too hard or you might drive him six feet under by accident. That's how much he cares]

If you end up on Feliciano's shit-list, however... there much really, really be something wrong with you Count your lucky stars that this Italian's vowed to himself to be non-violent unless forced otherwise as well as the fact that his powers are generally non-threatening. Thankfully for both you and the younger Vargas, it's very difficult to end up here, though. Generally you're either in the 'friend' category or the 'you're kind of a dick but I can put up with it' category.

Ah, l'amore~ How can love blossom in such a dreary place? People pitted against on another like beasts for bloodsport, others starved and beaten, the icy tendrils of Mother Russia sinking deep into your bones and never letting go... If love could flourish in such a space, it would truly be beautiful, si? In the twenty years Feliciano's been alive, he's never felt he truly knows what "love" really means. There's a lot of affection within him, there's no doubt about it, but there's never been a person who could get him to definitively say "I love you".

Relationships

Lovino Vargas Estranged Elder Brother Lovino and Feliciano don't seem to get along very well--there was a number of years where they avoided each other as children. Thankfully, time manages to fix most things, so hopefully their relationship will improve despite the nature of their surroundings.

Ludwig Beilschmidt Childhood Friend Feliciano and Ludwig met after Ludwig was inducted into Weeds of Tomorrow Academy. They became fast friends once Feliciano showed that he was being helpful without ulterior motives. Now that they are in the Underground, they rarely see one another--hopefully they won't reunite in the Arena.

Hamish Stuart Acquaintance Unfortunately, Hamish, too, has been trapped in the Underground, along with every other unclaimed mutant in Archadia. He's a good deal older than Feliciano, and jaded by those extra years. However, Feliciano knows he's adept in raising peoples' spirits. Maybe he can help the angry Scotsman, too.

Tino Väinämöinen Acquaintance Feliciano isn't sure what to make of the newest guard in the Underground. The boy seems really nice; maybe too nice for his own good. Between feeding all the mutants extra food and treating them like people...Feliciano's a bit worried the other guards'll eat him alive. He's also hopeful he can become friends with this guard, though. Maybe convince him to get Ludwig and Lovino out of this dark place...

Ren Kondou Enemy All he can do is shudder at the memory of meeting this man during the first day of the New Year's festival. It was an uncomfortable situation, and one that ended in a rare show of violence from Feliciano. The man's anti-mutant spiel angered and disgusted the Italian, and he hopes he never has to meet him again.

Antonio Carriedo Acquaintance Between that disastrous meeting with Ren Kondou and the equally terrible fight he'd been forced to participate in with his best friend, Feliciano was sure he'd hate everything about the New Year's festival. Meeting kind, considerate "Toni" was a silver lining. Hopefully he managed to convince Antonio to help his brother...

??? Enemy (?) Feliciano doesn't know what this man's name is, why he's there, or really anything about him. However, after his recent escape from the Underground, running into him like this seems like a bad sign... All he can do is pray that it won't end with violence. He doesn't seem like a bad person, at least for now.

??? Acquaintance (Ally?) A stranger who's offering him help after seeing him squatting near a coffee shop. Everything about this situation says that he should run, but Feliciano can tell that there's something more to this teenager than meets the eye...and it's good. He can only hope his trust isn't misplaced again.

Gilbert Beilschmidt...? Friend (?) A man Feliciano literally ran into whilst attempting to find his friend, Ludwig. They have very similar smells, and his memories of Ludwig's stories of his brother back up at least part of this stranger's claim of being the German's older brother. He's going to trust him for now, but won't make any true judgement calls until he hears the story from the other's ears before he shares anything about himself. If this really is Ludwig's brother...

HEYYYYYYYY I'd love to do some plotting with you. ;w; I've plotted quite a bit with others in the Underground, so I think we could get something to work. Any ideas as of what you might want their relationship to be right now?

Yes plotting with you is always fun yessss <3 Let's see... I'm not entirely sure what I want their relationship to be as of right now! I know the two of them would get along pretty well on a personal level if they got the chance to sit around and actually get to know one another, but as for right now, I don't think they really know each other right now? To Feli, Francis would probably end up being just a pretty face in a crowd of pretty faces. IDK how Francis would see Feli, either. We'll have to talk and figure this out! <3

Francis would honestly just want to get Feli out, really. Too many mutants locked up ufhshahdhuc it's really quite frustrating. ene I mean, he wants to get as many out as possible (read: all of them), but he'd be rather fond of Feli (and most likely Lovi too). Though yes, it does depend if they talk personally.

Francis can and does visit the Underground frequently enough, so there's a fair chance he's seen Feli. If they do talk, personality counts too -- he's most likely more inclined to purchase the ones he thinks are faring the worst first.

Feli thinks that Francis is a great person for wanting to get everyone out, OOCly xD There are a lot of mutants already, and none of them have been purchased yet. Hopefully Francis'll be able to get at least a few out [though always take baby-steps, Franny ;3]

I think that sounds geat--we can set up a meeting between Feli and Francis somewhere in the underground. It'll give Feli a bit of hope regarding humans' views towards mutants and Franny can get information on which mutants are having the most problems [and maybe someone to do a bit of reconnaissance for him and his band of Freedom Fighters] Do you want to start it, or should I?

Yeah we need to plot for these two at some point. I'm not sure what they could do but Gupta has no issue visiting the underground and not even trying to hide that he's giving the mutants food. He is the one if questioned would go off on a rant about how he's a paying customer and will not purchase sickly mutants so he's doing the job they have been failing to accomplish. If able to would even be willing to bandage and care for injured mutants since I mean he cares for animals people aren't that much different when it comes to disinfecting and bandaging right?

I definitely think these two should plot--though Feliciano might end up trying to convince Gupta how mutants aren't lower than humans, just because they look different and have these "abilities" doesn't mean that they deserve to be treated badly blah blah blah xD;

Maybe once the thread with Demyx is finished, Gupta and Feli can meet for the first time after that fight? Feli would definitely need assistance after that xDDD Or maybe he hears from some of the mutants he's fed that one of their own is giving up most of his food to take care of the others, and goes to figure out who that is (or to question Feli himself if the mutants are telling everyone it's Feliciano/"the dumbass who doesn't fight in the Arena"/etc)

pfft well that would be a waste of his time. I mean he does somewhat view them lower than humans but it's not like he hits them or if he does it's not like a soft swat with a newspaper or any paper he can roll up but would by no means hurt. His logic is you respect me I respect you.

Yeah once that is done he could always visit and bandage Feli up and help take care of him since the guards won't. The guards neglecting mutants annoys him because how can you see something that is scarred and sick? Humans would probably buy something else. He's Egyptian he likes cooking and likes even better when people want to eat more of his food so yeah if Feli was giving up the food he might leave and go make stuff and return to force him to eat good food.

I know it would, and it'd probably irritate Gupta if Feli started on his spiel, but Feli's planning on giving it to like every human who gives him the chance xDD in order to try and change the way the world works, one person at a time, without the violence the FF is planning

He'd have to splint a limb probably, as well as bandage other broken and bleeding things that he'll be left with xD but yeah Feli's probably gonna get tossed in his cell and left there to rot/heal on his own because he's not worth the money/time to fix xD He's not a hot commodity in the auctions or a big winner in the Arena, so if he's damaged I doubt the guards would care.

And it'd probably be difficult for Gupta to actually force-feed Feli, even if the food is "delicious-smelling omg he used actual spices not just the ground-up, dried out powders stores try to pretend are decent tasting omg I want ittttt ;A;", mostly because he wants everyone, especially the people he cares about, to eat like that. So maybe, at first, Gupta'll make some kind of agreement for Feli to pass out the food that Gupta makes to the mutants that really need it, so long as Feli eats what Gupta makes for /him/, too xD; that'd make it easier for Feli to eat

Yeah poor Gupta is literally stuck between both sides and he has no want to take a side and piss the other off but he's not mean.

Yeah Puchi has a thread where they just tell Tino to throw Lovi back into his cell without cleaning him up because he isn't worth it due to being a bait mutant. But if he heard rumors of someone really being injured he'd bring everything he could get a hold of just so he could actually help instead of just bandaging what he could. If he has to he'll make a guard unlock the cell because the equipment is his own meaning it doesn't cost the government anything.

Food he makes he'd give a small helping to the mutants in good conditions (Lovi) and for thinner mutants (Feli and Ham) would give them extra so they can gain some of the needed weight. But he also lives by a rule that would make this hard for him. His culture says if someone cleans their plate you give them more so he'd possibly sit around and keep giving certain mutants more until he ran out of food to supply them with. Feli should eat it though because everyone gets a helping.

That's better than the "we hate mutants let's beat them to a pulp" side at least xD he could maybe trust Lovi with Gupta so long as he doesn't treat Lovi badly--depending on how their first meeting goes, of course

and depending on how badly Feli feels, he probably wouldn't eat because it hurt too much. that might cause a stir--a mutant refusing to eat when they get fed so little already? the human-loving mutants would probably say all kinds of shit about how Feli's not worth the 'kindness' the guards grant him, etc. the others would be happy to take Feli's food, though--not that he'd be in any state to drag himself over to given it to them xD;

Feli definitely wouldn't accept more food than his brother, even if he inhales like everything Gupta gives him. xD though Feli understands that rule because in Italy it's similar. hopefully, though, Gupta won't run himself bankrupt trying to feed the mutants xD that'd be bad
