FRIENDS

Ludwig doesn't have many friends.  He's got plenty of acquaintances, but he doesn't really get close to people unless it becomes clear that it will be a worthwhile endeavor or the other person puts in an equal amount of effort to be friendly and helpful.  He's distrustful of people in general, but once that barrier gets broken down over the course of time, he's actually quite a good friend.

ENEMIES

It genuinely takes a lot to make Ludwig hate someone: he's surprisingly patient and has very thick skin.  That being said, he's also a very dangerous man to have as an enemy should that invisible line be crossed.  He knows just how strong he is (and might even be underestimating his strength) and is strategic, cunning, and determined to boot.  He rarely backs down from a fight, even a voluntary one.

LOVERS

Ludwig hasn't been in a single romantic relationship in his life.  Not that he hasn't dreamed or thought about such a prospect, but the opportunity never arose and he's essentially been focused on other things for a long time at the expense of ignoring romantic interests.  He would need a lot of convincing to start some deeper relationship with someone, but at the same time, he's curious, so the chance is there.

Well it seems like they might be close enough age-wise (two years, give or take?) to have had some interaction in Weeds--we might be able to have a relationship established from back then?

I also like your Luddy and we haven't really threaded outside of Maximantics yet, so I believe we must remedy that here. uvu

@ Monaface:: Yesssss I like this plan of remedy. I know Francis is a bit of a big shot, so maybe if he's visiting the Underground he can certainly arrange to speak to Ludwig. Have you got any ideas?

Ahahaha, yeah, Francis has quite a bit of authority in this AU. I'm just laughing because all the politicians in TND are mutants here and Francis -- yeah, you get the point. uwu

Francis speaks a lot with the mutants when he visits, it seems. xD I don't have a specific idea in mind right now, but I'm sure we can plot up something fun~. <3

I've never plotted with a Ludwig before, so I'm about to break a first. /o/ Seeing as they're both mutants and about the same age, perhaps we could plot something between them at Weeds? I'm not quite sure what to make of them yet, as I tend to just jump into threads and allow the characters to lead, but I'm open to any sort of spontaneity. xD

@ Biscuits:: I like how British people call cookies biscuits.  Oh yay, this is exciting! And yes, they were probably at Weeds at the same time, I noticed that and I am very excited. I'm a big fan of thread spontaneity too, although in order to get the ball rolling, I'm trying to think of ways we can have them run into each other and not huff off in different directions XD Perhaps they were roommates or study partners at some point, or maybe they just end up breaking the same rule one day... what do you think?

Pfff you're obligated to call me that from now on. -nonotreally- xD I imagine them being pretty effective study partners, actually, heh. They do have some similarities that would cause them to interact for practical reasons and we can just take it from there in our own way. Study partners or even classmates. Or they're simultaneously breaking a rule, pfff. Art's been doing that quite frequently, so that's a possibility.

We need to thread at some point even though the two would probably only be able to thread in the arena because we know they will not get along. Ludwig would be seen as neutral to Hamish but I wouldn't be surprised if he became the enemy of Ludwig.

@ Mona:: Ludwig would be very curious about the fact that Francis is a human but somehow not a jerk, and he's not impolite enough to refuse to talk to him. I think we can work with this /o/

@ Biscuits:: Be careful what you wish for Study partners would be great! Perhaps they started out as classmates and evolved into study parters. With the rule-breaking, the only rules Ludwig would risk breaking on a frequent basis would be the one about him not being allowed in the library and if there were any rules about being outside (you see he isn't trying to run away, he just likes the outdoors). If Art joins in in breaking either of those rules, he will be on Lud's white list, haha.

@ Dee:: We absolutely need to thread. If they were roommates someone would probably end up dead, unfortunately, but we should find a way to get them in the arena. Or maybe their cells face each other and they can shout insults across a corridor, haha. I imagine Ludwig would lose his patience with Hamish rather quickly, sadly.

Yeah if they were left in a cell together Ludwig would probably find Hamish to be annoying and a douche. I would give them two seconds before Ludwig tried to kick his ass. The arena would probably be the best for the two. Hamish could use a few burn marks and shown his place, Feliciano is probably the only one with patience for Hamish's defensive side. Ludwig can kick the twig's ass.

Hehe, alright. uwu <3 Francis will especially respect Ludwig, I would think, for being so level-headed and thoughtful -- despite having grievances like the others, he uses tact. Maybe we could plot something more for something to happen later in the plot too in private. <33

mmm but I'm liking this far too much. xP Yes, I like that idea! As for which rules Ludwig would be willing to break, I'm sure Arthur can indulge him with an after-hours library visit, pff. I assume that their library hours would probably run similar to when they're supposed to be in their dorms around 5:30... or most likely before that.. which is obscenely early in Arthur's opinion. l'D But yes, I'd love to do something like that!
